LEAVE A LEGACY® PROGRAM
Making a difference in the lives that follow

The Community Foundation served as the lead organization to establish a LEAVE A LEGACY® program in the greater Siouxland area; a program now sponsored by the National Committee on Planned Giving and the Planned Giving Council of Siouxland. The goal of the program is to inspire people from all walks of life to make a gift from their estate to nonprofits organizations of their choice. Most people assume they have to be wealthy to include a charitable gift in their estate plans. This isn’t so. Today, people of all income levels are discovering the possibilities and benefits of leaving a legacy. Imagine how much good could be done if each one of us remembered a favorite charity or cause in our will or estate plan? The impact would be immeasurable!

We invite you to creating a lasting personal legacy by establishing an endowed fund through the Siouxland Community Foundation.
