INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT
The goal of the Siouxland Community Foundation is to build upon the value of donations received in a prudent, disciplined manner. The view is that contributors to endowed funds intend that the value of their gifts should be maintained, preserved, and carefully enhanced over time. Therefore, the portfolio is managed to first, preserve, and second, enhance the funds entrusted to the Siouxland Community Foundation.
Investment Managers are currently the two banks in Siouxland which exercise Trust powers through local offices: Security National Bank and Wells Fargo Bank
The Foundation’s Investment & Finance Committee oversees the activities of the Investment Managers; establishes and monitors financial, investment, and distribution policies for the Foundation; and reviews investment performance to determine optimum earnings and growth potential.
