Grants are made to nonprofit organizations that provide services vital to the quality of life in Siouxland. Organizations recognized under 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and/or qualified government entities located within the greater Siouxland tri-state area (defined as a general 50-mile radius of Sioux City, Iowa, are eligible to receive grants from the Community Foundation. Grants to address present and emerging needs are made in the following focus areas: arts and culture, civic affairs, education, environment, health, and human services.
